The Leveled Horse Riding and English Camp Ireland is aimed at Riders who wish to perfect their horse riding disciplines in an Equestrian centre run by an Olympic Medalist! You will learn first-hand from professional instruction from an international show jumping competitions expert.

Leveled Horse Riding and English Camp Ireland Program:

Onsite Equestrian Accommodation .
Host Family Accommodation, 2025.
Programs: Sunday to Sunday.
Ages from 10 to 19 years old.
3 tiered horse-riding leveled courses.
3 hours of English classes daily.
3 hours of daily horseback riding.
Sunday Show Jumping Competition.
Horse care instruction.
Between 8 and 12 students per class.
Show Jumping and Cross Country Classes.
Horseback riding in the forests and on Atlantic Coast.
Olympic Show Jumper.

Leveled Horse Riding and English Camp Ireland:

*Only students who are Experienced Horse Riders will be accepted on these programs.

The Irish Equestrian and English language course offers three tiered horse riding programs, which focus on perfecting the horse riders personal show jumping skills and competences in the saddle.

These programs are:

Horse Riding and English for the experienced beginner to Intermediate rider.
Equestrian Show Jumping and English for Intermediate riders.
Intensive Horse Riding, Show Jumping and English for Competent Horse Riders (advanced riders).

The Equestrian and English language program for Beginner riders is designed for students who would like to learn and improve their horse riding skills in flatwork disciplines and have an enjoyable experience with horses. Both Show Jumping programs focus on the more competitive rider who wants to perfect their show jumping disciplines, where an intermediate to advanced level of show jumping experience is required. The equestrian centre is approved by “The Irish Horse Riding Establishments”.

Certified English Teachers “The Quality Assurance Body for English Language Teaching (ELT) in Ireland”.
3 hours of English classes daily.
Level testing on first day of course.
English classes according to levels.
Monday to Friday..
Between 10 and 15 students per class.
Average of 12 students per class.

Grammar.
Vocabulary.

English Conversation.

Leveled Horse Riding and English Camp Ireland:

The Equestrian Centre is approved by The Irish Riding Association (A.I.R.E). The owner is an Olympic medalist with an immense passion for teaching Showing Jumping and has been teaching international show jumpers for over 30 years. The riding school holds over 100 hectares of stunning natural landscapes and views of the mountains and forests adjacent to the beaches.

There are two outdoor arenas, one indoor and several cross-country courses to avail of. In turn, 70 highly experienced horses and Ponies (Irish Sport Horse and Connemara ponies) are ideal for show jumping, cross-country and horseback riding in the nearby forests and Atlantic beaches.

Come and experience the classes first hand and meet the equestrian family in an international student and rider environment and benefit from the English classes with our ACLES certified English teachers.

Programme Overview

Ages: 10-19 years.
Full-board accommodation: the equestrian centre in shared bedrooms (up to 9 students) or a host family (up to 3 students).
Dublin Airport Sunday assisted arrivals, departures & transfers: included
Riding Levels: Experienced novice to advanced and competition riders
P4S: 15 hours of equestrian training & schooling/per week.
English classes & Level testing: 15 hours of English tuition per week
P4.1: show jumping & cross-country training up to 80 cms
P4.2: Competitive riders: show jumping & cross-country training for riders already competing at 80 cms
P4.3: Competitive riders: show jumping & cross-country training for riders already competing at 1m
Riding assessment: Practical riding assessment to determine each participant’s ability and appropriate riding group.
Weekly competition: In-house weekly show jumping competition.
Beach Riding & Hacks: Riding once a week.
Leisure activities: A range of evening leisure activities.
Day trip: One outing per week to the local village.
Supervision: Qualified instructors and teachers supervise all activities, ensuring students receive appropriate guidance, care, and support throughout their stay.

Dublin Airport arrivals: Assisted arrivals & transfers at Dublin Airport are available on Sundays for flights arriving between 11:00 and 16:30. (Last transfer 17:30)
Dublin Airport departures: Assisted departures & transfers to Dublin Airport are available on Sundays for flights leaving between 11:00 and 18:00.
Arrivals & departures to/from the riding centre (own car): flexible arrivals & departures

Dietary Requirements: Gluten-free, intolerances, vegetarian, vegan or allergies: + €50/week

Equestrian training and stays are from 1 to 9 weeks.

Leveled Horse Riding and English Camp Ireland includes:

Full board accommodation in dormitory-style rooms.
15 hours of horse riding lessons (show jumping, cross-country and horseback riding, see program outline).
15 hours of English classes per week.
Level testing in English and all English course material.
5 supervised recreational activities: cinema-disco-barbeques-surfing.
Saturday day trip to local village.
Staff Supervision outside class timetables.
Wednesday laundry service.
Daily transfers from the host family and to all activities outside the riding school.
Sunday Scheduled airport transfers to/from Dublin Airport.
Weekly downtime: Sunday and Monday evenings.
Return flight check in assistance.
Full board accommodation for group leader/riding instructor accompanying seven riders or more.

Summer Camp Timetable:

MONDAY TO SUNDAY:
8.30: English courses or Riding lessons.
12.30: Buffet lunch: Equestrian Club House.
13.30: Horse Riding lessons or English classes.
17.00: Free time.
18.00: Dinner (main meal) and free time.
19.00: Tuesday to Saturday: Group Activities. Saturday evening: BBQ
Sunday and Monday evenings: WEEKLY DOWNTIME: Time to settle in, relax and connect with other international riders.
22.30-11.00: Bedtime.
Sunday: Arrivals & Departures. Show Jumping Competition day! (Stays of two-weeks or more only).
Activities, Tuesday to Saturday: On five evenings of the week, horse riders will take part in supervised group activities. Including: beach & surfing.: Tues. & Thurs.), cinema, disco, barbecue.
Saturday: 10am breakfast. Group excursion to local village: 12.00-17.00, lunch out in village, followed by Barbecue in the evening in riding school.
Recommended daily chats with children: 5 pm/9 pm (Irish time).
In general, the day of the laundry service is usually Wednesday.
Please consult the team or the timetables on the information boards at the riding school when you arrive.
Please note that there may be small changes to the timetable. Beach horse rides and hacks are subject to the weather and tides.

Spending money, Saturday trip to village & lunch out, airports.

Special dietary requirements (Celiac / Gluten Free, Allergies etc.), incur a cost of 50€ / week.

The “Leveled Horse Riding and English Camp Ireland” camps are suitable for the more advanced horse riders who are interested in perfecting working on the flat and enhancing their show jumping at competitive levels, ride out on the cross-country courses and explore the forests and beaches on the Atlantic coast whilst receiving full immersion in the English language.

Nos deux filles ont passé une merveilleuse semaine en Irlande, l’équipe est vraiment très sympa et le séjour a bien répondu à nos attentes, tant sur le plan sportif (équitation) que sur le plan des apprentissages en anglais. Les logements et encadrants sont très sympathiques. Un grand plus : les parents sont parfaitement guidés (et rassurés !!) dans les préparatifs par la gentille Bronagh, véritable maman poule pour nous et nos enfants. My daughter had an absolutely wonderful experience at Airlinguee. The horses are exceptionally well cared for and in excellent condition, which was very important to us. The riding instructors are truly outstanding. They carefully assessed her riding level and moved her to the group that suited her abilities best. This individual attention helped her build confidence, improve her skills, and make real progress during the two weeks. We also felt that the children were very well supervised and genuinely cared for at all times. The whole team was kind, professional, and attentive, creating a safe and welcoming environment. Taïssia also improved her English, made wonderful new friends, enjoyed the surfing activities, and came home with so many happy memories. These were two unforgettable weeks, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone at Airlinguee for making them so special. We would highly recommend this camp and will definitely be back in the future!

Wir können Airlinguee uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Unsere 17-jährige Tochter hat 2 Wochen in Irland verbracht und dort Englischunterricht mit Reiten kombiniert. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, mit wie viel Herzlichkeit, Fürsorge und Professionalität das gesamte Team arbeitet. Man spürt, dass das Wohl der Jugendlichen jederzeit im Mittelpunkt steht. Unsere Tochter kam überglücklich nach Hause und spricht immer von dieser unvergesslichen Zeit. Für uns steht fest: Diese Reise war eine der besten Entscheidungen, die wir für sie treffen konnten. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Bronagh und das gesamte Airlinguee-Team für dieses außergewöhnliche Erlebnis.
