The Horseball English and horse riding program is ideal for young people who want to improve their English, in small groups, practice dressage, jumping or cross-country and horseball, in an international environment.

The Horseball Riding Program:

  • Dublin School Residence.
  • Programs: Sunday-Sunday.
  • Ages 11 and older.
  • Two extra curricular activities.
  • 3 hours of English daily classes.
  • Between 10 and 15 students per class.
  • 2 hours of horseback riding per day.
  • Times: 15h-17h.
  • Flatwork, show jumping, cross-country and dressage classes.

  • BHS, AIRE and Failte Ireland approved Centres.

Horseball Camp

2 weeks

English classes:

  • Approved English Academy
  • 2 hours of English classes, daily.
  • Times: 09h-12:00h Monday to Friday.
  • Between 10 and 15 students per class.
  • Ages between 11 and 17 years.
  • Level testing in oral and written skills.
  • English class from beginners to advanced.
  • Continual assessments.
  • Experienced and Qualified English teachers by the department of Education Ireland.
  • End of course examinations. 

Horseball Facilities:

  • 80 hectares with spectacular landscapes.
  • 3 multi-purpose arenas: flatwork, polocrosse and show jumping.
  • All weather indoor arena (40 x 30m).
  • Floodlit multipurpose arena – Show Jumping, Polocrosse and classical dressage (100m x 50m).
  • Floodlit multipurpose arena (50m x 30m).
  • Cross-country course + 25 jumps.
  • Show Jumping competitions.
  • 25 horses and ponies for show jumping, horseball, dressage.
  • Onsite Equestrian shop.
  • Recreational areas.

Equestrian Horseball Camp Ireland Prices and Stays in Ireland 2020:

Arrival/departure day: Sunday.

 

*The Equestrian Horseball Camp Ireland includes:

  • 10 hours of riding lessons (flatwork, show jumping, cross-country, polocrosse and classical dressage).
  • 15 hours of English classes per week.
  • Welcome pack.
  • Oral and written level test and all teaching material.
  • Supervised recreational activities from Monday to Friday:
  • Option A: sports in the afternoons, movies in English.
  • Option B: 2 afternoons / week – dance party and Irish music and disco.
  • 1 cultural excursion: visits to museums, castles etc.
  • Daily transfers to and from the equestrian centre: round trip.
  • Full board accommodation in dormitory rooms.
  • Supervision of staff and group leaders outside class hours.
  • Laundry service.
  • Bus transfers to english school if unreachable walking.
  • End-of-course certificate and evaluation.

Extras not included:

  • Optional restaurant voucher (meals) at the English academy: 50 euros / week.
  • Transfers from Dublin airport, round trip: 80 euros (individual), 45 euros (shared).
  • Vegetarian / Gluten-Free / Vegan Menu incurs an additional cost of: 20 euros / week.
  • Accompanied transfers to the airport of minors incurs an additional cost of: 25 euros.
  • Transport card to recreational activities, to and from the centre: purchased at school. 
  • Any additional excursions offered at weekends and not included in course cost: 45 euros.
  • A security deposit of 50 euros is required on the first day, refunded at the end of the course against damages.
  • Flights not included.

 

The “Horseball Riding” camp in English is quintessential for young international students who wish to improve their English and horseback riding skills, in a fun educational setting, whilst meeting other international horse riders who love horses, horseball, dressage, show jumping, cross-country or polocrosse.
