Horse Trekking Ireland Equestrian Centre & Stud:

As both a horse trekking Ireland equestrian centre and a stud, the centre is also home to a breeding program that produces top-quality Irish horses renowned for their temperament and performance, Irish sport horse, Irish cobs, Irish draught or Connemara ponies. Riders can enjoy the unique opportunity to experience these exceptional horses during their horse trail adventures, as they traverse the scenic beauty of the Bay’s surroundings. The centre spans approximately 25 hectares of lush, rolling countryside, offering ample space for horse training, riding, and hacking. It is home to a carefully managed herd of around 30 horses, ranging from gentle mounts ideal for leisure riders to spirited performance horses suited for experienced equestrians.

Additionally, the facilities include well-maintained arenas for flatwork and jumping, spacious stables, and access to diverse horse hacks and riding trails that showcase the natural beauty of the Wild Atlantic Bay and its surroundings. The riding centre specialises in horse trekking Ireland, guiding riders through sandy beaches, coastal paths, and heritage-rich landscapes. With a professional team dedicated to horse care and rider safety, the Riding School provides an exceptional environment for both training and unforgettable equestrian adventures.

Starting at 9 am on Monday, this horse trek is an exhilarating adventure designed for experienced riders, offering the perfect blend, including rolling hills, rugged mountain paths, sandy beaches, and tranquil country lanes. The horse trek also meanders through picturesque coastal areas along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, offering stunning views of Bays and iconic islands. With its mix of open fields, wooded trails, country lanes, mountain paths, sea and off-shore islands and heritage sites, this ride promises a dynamic and unforgettable experience for those confident at walk, trot, and canter in diverse environments.

The trail ride typically starts with a briefing and an introduction to the day’s trek and route, which could include sandy beaches, mountain trails, or quiet country roads. As part of the horse trekking Ireland experience, riders spend four hours in the saddle, traversing diverse landscapes and enjoying the spectacular views. Midday brings a well-earned break for a picnic lunch, often at a picturesque spot such as a coastal overlook or a serene meadow.

Nos deux filles ont passé une merveilleuse semaine en Irlande, l’équipe est vraiment très sympa et le séjour a bien répondu à nos attentes, tant sur le plan sportif (équitation) que sur le plan des apprentissages en anglais. Les logements et encadrants sont très sympathiques. Un grand plus : les parents sont parfaitement guidés (et rassurés !!) dans les préparatifs par la gentille Bronagh, véritable maman poule pour nous et nos enfants. The riding instructors are truly outstanding. They carefully assessed her riding level and moved her to the group that suited her abilities best. This individual attention helped her build confidence, improve her skills, and make real progress during the two weeks.

We also felt that the children were very well supervised and genuinely cared for at all times. The whole team was kind, professional, and attentive, creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Taïssia also improved her English, made wonderful new friends, enjoyed the surfing activities, and came home with so many happy memories.

These were two unforgettable weeks, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone at Airlinguee for making them so special. We would highly recommend this camp and will definitely be back in the future!

Unsere 17-jährige Tochter hat 2 Wochen in Irland verbracht und dort Englischunterricht mit Reiten kombiniert. Die gesamte Reise war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend organisiert und hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen.
Da es ihre erste Reise alleine ins Ausland war, hatten wir als Eltern anfangs natürlich ein wenig Sorge. Diese war jedoch völlig unbegründet. Vom ersten Kontakt an wurden wir freundlich, kompetent und jederzeit hilfsbereit betreut. Die Kommunikation war ausgezeichnet und wir fühlten uns während der gesamten Zeit bestens informiert.
Unsere Tochter hat ihren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Sie war begeistert von den Reitstunden, den großartigen Pferden, den engagierten Trainern und der herzlichen Atmosphäre.
Sie hat viele neue internationale Freundschaften schließen und wertvolle Erfahrungen für ihre persönliche Entwicklung sammeln können.
Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, mit wie viel Herzlichkeit, Fürsorge und Professionalität das gesamte Team arbeitet. Man spürt, dass das Wohl der Jugendlichen jederzeit im Mittelpunkt steht.
Unsere Tochter  kam überglücklich nach Hause und spricht immer von dieser unvergesslichen Zeit. Für uns steht fest: Diese Reise war eine der besten Entscheidungen, die wir für sie treffen konnten.
