Tailored to horse riders who already compete in show jumping at a competitive level and wish to polish up on their equestrian sporting techniques with expert horse riding instructors.

Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland: 1-8 week-stays.

Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland:

The Specialized in Show Jumping and Competitions in Ireland program is for the more Advanced Horse Riders.

You will already compete in Show Jumping Competitions and have proven experience in jumping from at least 1 metre. We also cater for those interested in enhancing their Cross Country techniques too.

In addition, this Specialized Show Jumping course will allow the rider to demonstrate his or her true capabilities in the saddle, which provides optimum performance at competitive levels.

You are also invited to compete in local national show jumping competitions during your stay. The course will allow the student to focus on show jumping techniques under expert horsemanship supervision. 

With more than 25 years of experience teaching competitive Irish and International Horse Riders. To confirm a place, please send us a recent video of you show jumping. 

To truly benefit from our Specialized Show Jumping Camp, a two-week minimum  is recommended. The equestrian centre is approved by “The Irish Horse Riding Establishments” and “The British Horse Riding Society”.

Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland English classes:

  • Optional English tuition. (Ages 13 to 21 years).
  • Learn the technical lingo for International Jumping Shows in English.
  • OPCIONAL 2 hours of daily English classes.
  • Timtable: Monday to Friday.
  • Cambridge Level Testing.
  • Emphasis is placed on the technical language in Show Jumping Competitions.
  • Average: 10 students per class.
  • Language Skills: oral expression and fluency.
  • Qualified English Teachers.

Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland Equestrian Centre:

This Equestrian Centre proudly bears the approval of The Irish Riding Club Association, a testament to its commitment to excellence. Adding to its prestige, the owners themselves are esteemed coaches dedicated to nurturing talent within the realm of equestrian sports. Notably, they contribute their expertise as coaches for the Irish Junior Show Jumping team, showcasing a deep-rooted passion for both the sport and its aspiring enthusiasts.

Nestled across 80 hectares, this equestrian haven offers breathtaking vistas of mountains and forests, conveniently situated near the serene beaches. Boasting  outdoor arenas, along with an exhilarating cross-country course, the equestrian centre provides a scenic and versatile environment for riders of all levels.

Additionally, one of the 20 onsite horses and Ponies will be matched with your personal horse riding level to train in Show Jumping. 

Come and meet our family and we will take you on a unique experience in technical horsemanship. Make friends in an international horsey environment, doing what you love most and enhance your English language skills at the same time.

Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland: Timetable

  • 8.00/8.30 Breakfast.
  • 09.30 Prepare to ride, each session begins with a tack/equipment safety check
  • 09.30 On day 1, each rider will be assessed and matched with a suitable pony/horse
  • 10.30 Morning ride
  • 12.00 Return to stable, care for ponies, groom, hay and water
  • 12.30 Lunch
  • 13.30 Stable management, riders will be taught how to prepare their own pony/horse, check and clean equipment, develop a sense of responsibility and respect or their own safety, and for the comfort and well being of their equine companion.
  • 14.30 Afternoon ride
  • 16.00 Return to stable, groom, hay and water, clean tack and put away allequipment
  • 17.00 Time for rest and recuperation, shower and change before the evening meal
  • 18.00 Home cooked meal to be enjoyed all together in the kitchen
  • 19:00 Recreational activités: Sports: Football, tennis, volleyball, and mini-golf sessions, team builidng games, quizzes, guided walks, beach visits, barbecues, music, singing and dancing.
  • Sundays: Arrival and departure days.
  • Evenings and weekends: A selection of things to do in the evenings depending on the weather, sports, games, barbecues, music, singing and dancing there is always plenty to do. On Fridays riders will partake in fun jumping competitions and prize giving day. Take a full day trip to one of the many scenic locations or enjoy a local shopping trip or perhaps visit a local horse/pony show.

Included in the Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland:

  • Full board equestrian accommodation.
  • 15 hours of Riding lessons and Show Jumping /week. (1.5 hours morning & afternoon)
  • 5 hours of Stable Management Classes in English.
  • Personalised in situ evaluations and feedback from equestrian experts.
  • Onsite activities every day in the evenings.
  • Full board accommodation in dormitory-style rooms. (up to 6 beds).

Extras not included in Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland:

  • Spending money.
  • Students are required to bring their own towel, shower gel and shampoo, riding hat/helmet/skull cap, back protector, jodhpurs/riding breeches, riding boots/jodhpur boots and chaps.
  • 10 hours of English classes/week incurs an additional cost of: 150 euros.
  • Partake in an official show jumping competitions incurs an additional cost of: €150. (Subject to rider's ability & instructor's assessment and level of show).
  • Saturday Day Trip (optional): Sightseeing, shopping or attending a show jumping competition.
  • Flights not included.

The Specialized Competitive Show Jumping Course Ireland is ideal for Young Adult COMPETITIVE horse riders and students, who wish to improve their Show Jumping techniques, in small groups and make international horsey friends! Full English Immersion.
