The Horseball English and Horse Riding Camp is ideal for young horse riders who wish to improve their English, in small groups, do dressage, show jumping, cross-country, polo-crosse and horseball, in an international environment.

Equestrian Horseball Camp Ireland:

  • Dublin School Residence.
  • Camps: Sunday-Sunday.
  • Ages 11 to 17 years.
  • 3 hours of English daily classes.
  • Between 10 and 15 students per class.
  • 2 hours of horseback riding per day.
  • Times: 3pm-5pm.
  • Flatwork, show jumping, cross-country, hacks and dressage classes.
  • Specialties: horse ball and dressage.
  • Weekly cultural day trip.
  • Two extra curricular activities / week.

  • BHS, AIRE and Fáilte Ireland approved Centres.

  • Approved English Academy.
  • 2 hours of English classes, daily.
  • Times: 9am-12pm Monday to Friday.

  • 3 multi-purpose arenas: flatwork, polocrosse and show jumping.
  • All weather indoor arena (40 x 30m).
  • Floodlit multipurpose arena – Show Jumping, Polocrosse and classical dressage (100m x 50m).

  • Cross-country course + 25 jumps.
  • Show Jumping competitions.

Weekly Timetable Horseball Camp Ireland:

Timetable Monday – Friday mornings: Group tuition with two different teachers.

  • 09:00 – 10:00: Teacher 1 – Grammar and Use of Language
  • 10:00 – 10:15: early-morning break
  • 10:15 – 11:15: Teacher 1 – Speaking and Listening Skills
  • 11:15 – 11:30: mid-morning break
  • 11:30 – 12:30: Teacher 2 – Fluency Practice and Consolidation
  • 12.30-1.30: Lunch
  • 14.30-16.30: Horse Riding
  • 17.00 – Host Family & Residential transfers.
  • 18.00 – Dinner.
  • 19.00 – Extra Curricular Activities / Host Family.
  • Monday – Friday Afternoons: The objective of this camp is to provide students with the opportunity to avail themselves of the excellent facilities and excellent Horse-riding lessons.
  • Evenings: 2 evening activities per week included in the programme.
  • One full-day excursion each weekend to places of cultural interest.

*The Equestrian Horseball Camp Ireland includes:

  • 10 hours of riding lessons (flatwork, show jumping, cross-country, polocrosse and classical dressage).
  • 15 hours of English classes per week.
  • Welcome pack.
  • Oral and written level test and all teaching material.
  • Supervised recreational activities from Monday to Friday:
  • Option A: sports in the afternoons, movies in English.
  • Option B: 2 afternoons / week – dance party and Irish music and disco.
  • 1 cultural excursion: visits to museums, castles etc.
  • Daily transfers to and from the equestrian centre: round trip.
  • Full board accommodation in dormitory rooms or Homestay accommodation.
  • Supervision of staff and group leaders outside class hours.
  • Laundry service.
  • Bus transfers to english school if unreachable walking.
  • End-of-course certificate and evaluation.

*Extras not included on Equestrian Horseball camp Ireland:

  • Optional restaurant voucher (meals) at the English academy: €55 euros / week.
  • Individual Transfers from Dublin airport: €85 (individual), €50 (shared).
  • Unaccompanied transfers each way to/from airport of minors incurs an additional cost of: €25.
  • Celiac -Vegetarian-Gluten-Free-Vegan menu incurs an additional cost of: €25 / week.
  • Transport card to recreational activities, to and from the centre: purchased at school.
  • Any additional excursions offered at weekends not included in course cost: €45.
  • A security deposit of €50 euros is required on the first day, refunded at the end of the course against damages.
  • Flights not included.
