We collect certain user data directly, such as information that the user submits, data from third-party platforms that the user connects to Airlinguee. We collect some data automatically, such as information about the user’s device and the parts of our Services with which the user interacts or spends time using. Data that the user provides to us: We may collect different user data or data, depending on how you use the Services. Here are some examples to help users better understand the data we collect. When you create an account and use the Services, including through a third-party platform, we collect data that you provide directly to us including: Communications: If you contact us to request information about our courses, we will collect and store your contact information, messages, and other user data, such as your name, email address, location, operating system, IP address and any other data you provide or that we collect through automated means. We use this data to respond to the user and their requests, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Promotions: We may invite the user to participate in a promotion. If you participate, we will collect and release the data you provide to us as part of your participation, such as your name, email address, telephone number or date of birth. Such data will be subject to this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise stated. The collected data will be used to manage the promotion. When we use a third-party platform to administer a promotion, that third party’s privacy policy will apply. If you log in to Airlinguee through Facebook, Google, twitter, Linkedin or another third-party platform or service, we will request your permission to access certain information about that other account. For example, depending on the platform or service, we may collect the user’s name, account ID number, login email address, location, physical location of access devices, gender, birthday, and friends or contact list. Such platforms or services make the information available to us through their APIs The information we receive depends on the information that you (through your privacy settings) or platform or service choose to provide to us. If you use or use our Services through a third-party platform or service, or if you click on any third-party link, the collection, use and sharing of user data will also be subject to the privacy policy and all agreements of such third parties. What we use user data for We use the data to provide our services, communicate with the user, analyze how the user uses our services and improve the experience of them when using our services, offer personalized advertising always respecting the user’s privacy as required by law. We use the data we collect through your use of our services to:

  • Process requests and orders for courses, specific services, information, and functions that the user performs.
  • Provide or administer English Camp and Horse riding Services, equestrian holidays, horseback riding and English courses.
  • Communicate with the user by email, phone, mailings, facebook, twitter or other social networks.
  • Send you informative and administrative messages about our services and equestrian horseback riding courses or programs, english courses, new services, newsletters and other courses we offer.
  • Request user feedback.
  • Identify unique users across devices.
  • Advertise the Services on third-party websites and applications.
  • Adapt ads to different devices.
  • Analyze trends and traffic and follow up.

Likewise, the data subject shall have the right, where appropriate, to request its deletion when, among other reasons provided for in the Law, the data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
